This document details a 10‑step scam in which the fraudster (“Floxy”) convinces a victim that a cryptocurrency payout has failed and that she will instead pay via bank wire transfer. Using the complexity of cross‑border settlements (ACH, SWIFT, correspondent banking), she fabricates a series of clearing failures, each requiring a small “processing fee”. The 10 fees include: Clearing Synchronisation Fee, Ledger Reconciliation Fee, Intermediary Bank Confirmation Fee, Swift Message Resend Fee, Funds Release Fee (suspense account), Currency Conversion Fee, Weekend Clearing Surcharge, Correspondent Bank Investigation Fee (AML review), Reconciliation Unblock Fee (ledger error), and Split Transfer Processing Fee (daily limit). Floxy creates forged bank notices, SWIFT error reports, and compliance certificates using AI prompts. The victim pays repeatedly, believing each fee is the last, but never receives any funds.
